NickStick Mini Fishing Rod

Our offshore mini fishing rod is designed to catch quality fish on light tackle! For the spinning rod I usually fish a Penn 3500 size reel with 15 lb -20 lb braid. The latest version of the spinning rod is 45”

The conventional rod can be used with any small conventional reel, I typically use a Penn Torque 25 or a Penn Fathom 25 or 30. The conventional rods have spiral wrapped guides (aka acid wrapped guides) to help reduce tip wraps and stop the blank from twisting under heavy pressure since it’s such small diameter! It’s 45” in total length and built with a super strong blank with cork grips on both sides of the reel seat. 

The NickStick Kids Spinning Rods are the same super strong, durable blank as the other mini rods but they come with eva foam grips and have a a shorter bottom grip of 6''. 

All rods come with a soft rod cover! 

There is no warranty for these rods as I expect you will push them to the limit and probably do something you shouldn’t! I promise you’ll have fun pulling on fish with them! 

I have caught everything from cubera snapper, mangrove snapper, mutton snapper, yellowedge grouper, queen snapper, misty grouper, snowy grouper, permit, mahi, blackfin tuna, yellowfin tuna, blue marlin, halibut, salmon and more on them!
