Our offshore mini fishing rod is designed to catch quality fish on light tackle! For the spinning rod I usually fish a Penn 3500 size reel with 15 lb -20 lb braid. The latest version of the spinning rod is 45” The conventional rod can be used with any small conventional reel, I typically use a Penn Torque 25 or a Penn Fathom 25 or 30. The conventional rods have spiral wrapped guides (aka acid wrapped guides) to help reduce tip wraps and stop the blank from twisting under heavy pressure since it’s such small diameter! It’s 45” in total...
